About the Artist
Mike Schick is a painter based in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. His work focuses on the landscapes and natural spaces of the Pacific Northwest, from coastal creeks and meadows to the quiet corners of local forests and gardens.
Although Mike has been painting for more than 50 years, he has only in recent years begun sharing his work publicly through exhibitions and galleries. Since 2022, he has exhibited regularly, including participation in the annual Art Harvest Studio Tour and ongoing representation at the John Stromme Gallery in McMinnville.
His paintings emphasize atmosphere, color, and gesture, offering viewers both a sense of place and a personal interpretation of nature. Mike continues to build his body of work, sharing it with collectors through regional exhibitions and his online gallery.
