Three Rivers

Three Rivers
Oil on canvas, 16×20 inches, $425

The river known as Three Rivers winds its way through a town of the same name, carrying the forest’s reflections toward the Oregon coast. On this day, the scene seemed already composed — the tumbling water, mossy rocks, and fresh greens came together like a symphony waiting to be painted.

The cool shimmer of the current contrasts with the warmth of the surrounding foliage, capturing the balance of stillness and movement that defines Oregon’s waterways.

This painting now lives in my grandson’s college apartment — a reminder of home, nature’s strength, and the beauty of rivers that carve their own path.
